Easyjet to launch direct Thessaloniki flights to Manchester

Easyjet, the British low cost airline announced new service from Macedonia International Airport in Thessaloniki, which will be added to the list of already existing four.

The direct connection between Thessaloniki and Manchester have been announced by the British low cost company Easyjet. The company has already four flight routes from Thessaloniki with the destinations being Berlin, Milan, London and Basel, while the new route will begin in March 2013.

At the same time, the head of the company, Caroline Makol, announced that flights from Manchester to both Moscow and Prague will begin shortly. “It is very important news for the local economy of Manchester and the new services will create an additional 80 jobs. Moscow and Prague will appeal to business and leisure travellers alike with Thessaloniki promising to be a popular choice for holidaymakers from the region. We look forward to welcoming passengers onboard our new services in Spring next year.” she added.
