Thessaloniki is getting closer to Stockholm & Copenhagen
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) design four new routes, which will directly connect Thessaloniki to Stockholm and Copenhagen in order to strengthen their presence in northern Greece.
According to information provided by the General Director of the Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) in Greece and Cyprus, Alexander Averkiadis, during his meeting with the deputy district commissioner of Central Macedonia, Dionysis Psomiadis, the new routes will be seasonal, but SAS aspires to preserve them throughout the year.
At the same time other ways are examined for developing broader cooperation of the region of Central Macedonia with the Scandinavian Airlines to enhance the flow of tourists from Scandinavia in the region and to empower the effective promotion of the tourism product of Central Macedonia in the Sandinavian countries and vice versa.
