Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art

The Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the three contemporary art museums in Thessaloniki and covers every aspect of contemporary art since 1979, when it was founded after a donation of 47 works of art made by collector Alexander Iolas.

Today, the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art hosts about 2000 works of art and, since 2000, also hosts a scientific library of 2000 books. Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art is housed on the grounds of the Thessaloniki International Fair.
