The Annual Panhellenic Congress on Thoracic Diseases has been established as the most important scientific event held in Greece for pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons and paediatric pulmonologists. Since its establishment in 1984,  it has provided a unique forum for presentation of scientific research, an opportunity to review the latest knowledge on the whole spectrum of lung diseases, and a venue for informal sharing of information and research experience with Greek and foreign expert colleagues. 

The 21st Panhellenic Congress on Thoracic Diseases, scheduled for November 2012, aims to continue this tradition of excellence and is due to take place in Thessaloniki.

To improve the knowledge on diagnosis and management of thoracic diseases the Congress faculty will also offer a number of State of the Art lectures and interactive educational sessions including two ERS postgraduated courses. We look forward to meeting you at Thessaloniki on 1-4 of November 2012!
