The amazing American saxophonist Craig Bailey, a permanent member of Ray Charles’ orchestra for 17 years meets again with Costas Magginas for a series of live concerts throughout Greece. Together with them two special musicians, Agamemnon Mardas on acoustic bass and Chris Germenoglou on drums.

Famous for his warm sound, lyricism and the special relationship that develops with the audience at his live concerts, Craig Bailey is one of the most active alto saxophonists in New York. Permanent member Ray Charles’ orchestra (from 1987 until his death) and the quartet’s of drummer Akira Tana and bassist Rufus Reid, he has worked with leading jazz musicians such as: Tom Harrell, Bobby Watson, Art Blakey, Benny Carter, George Coleman, Al Grey, Mongo Santamaria, Ray Mantilla, Slide Hampton, Jimmy Heath, Clifford Jordan, Charlie Persip, Panama Francis, Mongo Santamaria, Bernard Purdie, Ray Bryant, Ronnie Matthews, Chico O’Farrill, Hilton Ruiz, Leon Thomas, Bill Hardman etc.
