Djangofest: The great swing/ gypsy jazz celebration settles at the port of Thessaloniki for a whole day event, with no admission!
Under the auspices of the European Youth Capital Thessaloniki 2014.

This June Djangofest, the annual meeting in the north, for all things swing and gypsy jazz related takes place at the port, with no admission. After two years in a row, the event returns to the city of Thessaloniki with a full day programme that hosts showcases, instrument exhibitions, Dj sets, dance shows and of course live concerts. All happening downtown, on the city port right next to the sea, this one is not to be missed!

Djangofest gypsy jazz festival is the amalgamation of jazz & swing arts in an event. Inspired by Django Reinhardt and his legacy, a team of musicians, dancers and crafts people get together to celebrate manouche and gypsy jazz culture. We are all invited into this joyous world of music and artistic expression.
