The 28th PHILOXENIA re-defines its objectives and seeks New Destinations!
This year’s exhibition, dedicated mainly to New Tourism Markets in the Balkans and generally in the countries of Southeastern Europe, aims to be the biggest Forum for Tourism in this area and Thessaloniki in particular.
By means of promotional activities and hosted buyers programs of international range, PHILOXENIA aims at increasing the international participations and at attracting exhibitors from all over the country in conjunction with the various forms of tourism that these exhibitor serve.
At the same time, special events will take place focusing on new technologies and tourism marketing via the internet whilst the Religious Tourism Congress will examine the question “Pilgrim or Tourist?”; to this question special agencies and professionals from the Religious Tourism sector shall be called to answer.
Some of the quality features of the 28th PHILOXENIA are the following:
- Hosted Buyers Program: expanded and targeted attraction of the suitable buyers (approximately 100 buyers) from the target markets indicated by the exhibitors;
- Special Buyers: Inviting buyers from the new markets of China, India, and Russia
- Special participation packages for exhibitors wishing exhibition space and construction of stands
- Free participation of the exhibitors in the Balkan Countries Tourism Conference to be organized within the framework of PHILOXENIA
- Extensive and targeted advertising plan in the Greek and foreign mass media as well as in the media of the related tourism sector
- Inviting specialized journalists from target countries.
