The 6th International Short Film Festival of Thessaloniki begins! From 12 – 16 December 2012 at THESS International Short Film Festival, the most important short film gems of world cinema. From 2 to 45 minutes, because the quality of the movies is not judged by the length of them!

In cinema room – cultural center ALEXANDER (opposite the White Tower) 132 films from 20 countries will be presented, with the films beginning every day at 4pm until 12pm. Admission for the whole  day is 5€.

Apart from the impressive individual participations and the best greek short films of the year, the THESS International Short Film Festival will have 7 special features:

  • Cinema Quebecois-Best from France / uniFrance
  • New Danish Cinema
  • Basque Cinema
  • Tribute to monoplanes
  • LODZ Film School, Poland
  • Best of Athens ISFF Psarokokalo

Also, two excellent special screenings that will impress:

  • DIRECTING HELL, the documentary by Chris Chouliara for the unforgettable Nikos Nikolaidis.
  • GESMOORD of Mieke Daneels, directors of PLANKTON, which will also be played
